Le due facce della luna

TWIN SPIRITS AT TABLE

Designed to juxtapose two materials with different spirits, like silver and steel, the Le Due Facce della Luna flatware by Afra and Tobia Scarpa brings to the table a story of Italian manufacturing excellence.

Originally designed for the San Lorenzo Atelier in Milan in 1979, the collection that Cassina rediscovers and re-edits, in partnership with the Milanese silversmith, focuses on the luxury and solidity of 925 Sterling silver for the handles and stainless steel for the bowls, tines and blades, for a quintessential aesthetic, sensory and dining experience that is a play on contrasts.

The cylindrical silver handles enhance the luxury of the silver and its pleasant tactile sensations; the blades of the knives are razor sharp and the forks and spoons are flawlessly forged and minted.
