The Oceano mobile trunk evokes the spirit of the cruises of yesteryear aboard the great transatlantic liners. A bedroom trunk for storing away objects, clothes and accessories. Designed by Andrèe Putman, Oceano is composed of a refined and streamlined series of recesses that give this sophisticated bedroom accessory an almost sculptural feel. The structure of the Ocean mobile trunk is made from birch plywood with solid beech guides. Inside, a rich mosaic of drawers of all sizes in MDF with scratchproof textured paint in the colours milk and burnt. The composition is embellished with a row of three drawers with natural oak veneer. Also inside there is a surprise mini fold-down writing desk with removable natural solid oak padded pouf. The Pelle Frau® leather upholstery is lightly padded and covers the entire exterior surface of the trunk, the pouf and the desktop. Accessories in chromium-plated metal and Saddle leather.

She begins her astonishing career in the 80s when amongst other accomplishments, she designs the first designer's hotel ever: Morgansin New York. Her recent work includes an important silverware and jewelry collection with Christofle, a porcelain collection for Gaia & Gino, exclusively distributed by Max Mara, a champagne cooler for VeuveClicquotand an ultimate evolution of the legendary Steamer Bag from Louis Vuitton. As an interior designer, she recently unveiled the breathtaking Blue Spa at BayerischerHof hotel in Munich, an office building for the pharmaceutical giant Novartis, the new identity of Helena Rubinstein corners, and the Guerlainflagship store on the Champs-Elysèes.In the last months, she also created spectacular private residences in Brussels, Dublin, Miami, Paris, Rome, Shanghai and Tel Aviv, as well as a sublime home hanging from a cliff in Tangiers, for actress Arielle Dombasleand philosopher Bernard-Henri Levy.
