Inspired by the ultra-comfortable chair created for the 3-Michelin star Four Season restaurant in Hong Kong, the Viola chair, designed by AB Concept for Poltrona Frau, has elegant lines that sacrifice nothing in terms of comfort. AB Concept has revisited a classic design, giving it a decidedly contemporary touch. The result is a product with great formal lightness and a solid and void effect which enhances the dining table chair both when it is used alone and when it is combined with a table. Thanks to its soft and comfortable curves, the wooden backrest also creates the armrest and is embellished with a weave consisting of sixty saddle-leather laces which connect it to the frame. Its harmonious and ergonomic proportions, combined with a generous and welcoming seat, guarantee the utmost comfort even when sitting for long periods. Despite being solid and well constructed, Viola is extremely light and easy to move.
